Our approach: what to expect
1- Comprehensive Initial Assessment
Your first visit includes a detailed discussion of your medical history, daily habits, bladder and bowel function, sexual health questions, and any symptoms you’re experiencing. Everything you share is confidential.
2- Physical Assessment
Your physiotherapist will assess posture, breathing patterns, core function, and hip/lumbar/pelvic alignment. When clinically appropriate and with your full consent, an internal (vaginal or rectal) examination may be offered to evaluate the pelvic muscles directly. These exams are always optional, you remain in full control at all times.
3-Individualized treatment plan
Each care plan is designed around your specific condition and goals. Techniques may include:

- Pelvic floor muscle training or relaxation (down-training)
- Core and breathing integration
- Bladder and bowel retraining
- Exercise prescription and education

We work closely with your healthcare team, including family doctors, gynecologists, urologists, and mental health professionals, when needed to support your overall wellness.
5-Ongoing Support and Progress Tracking
We provide home programs, progress reviews, and strategies to help prevent recurrence, empowering you to take charge of your pelvic health long-term.
