Meet Our Founder & Lead Physiotherapist
Maryam Ghodrati, BScPT, MScPT, PhD, CIDN
Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct), McMaster University
Registered Physiotherapist, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Maryam Ghodrati is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals move better, recover faster, and live pain-free. She takes a goal-oriented, individualized approach, addressing the root cause of dysfunction through advanced manual therapy, movement retraining, and evidence-based techniques.
She earned her BScPT (2015, 1st Rank in Class) and MScPT (2017) in Iran. Building upon her clinical expertise, she pursued advanced studies in Canada, obtaining a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Science from Western University. She further honed her skills through a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Memorial University.
Currently, Maryam serves as an Adjunct Professor at McMaster University, where she contributes to the education and mentorship of future physiotherapists. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care.

She has extensive experience in TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, pelvic health across pre-, during-, and post-pregnancy stages, pelvic girdle pain, and orthopedic rehabilitation, along with specialized training in MPS Pain & Scar Release using the Dolphin Neurostim.
Additionally, Maryam is certified in:
● GLA:D program, evidence-based hip and knee osteoarthritis management
● BoneFit™ Level 1 & 2 certified, providing safe and effective exercise prescription for individuals with osteopenia or osteoporosis to enhance bone health, strength, and fall prevention.

Meet Our Athletic Therapist
Halle is a Certified Athletic Therapist specializing in injury assessment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. Her background as an athlete and passion for helping others inspired her to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy. Halle is also a Certified First Responder, providing sideline care for multiple sports.
Her hands-on approach, combined with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of sports-related injuries, allows her to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each athlete’s needs. She is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to support recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term injury prevention.

Meet Our Pedorthist
Steve Moffatt, C.Ped (C) does gait assessment and consults on custom foot orthotics, footwear modifications & bracing for all ages.
Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. He grew up in the Niagara region on a rural property with plenty of space to explore. This has given him an appreciation for gardening and the outdoors. After finishing his degree, Steve was drawn to Pedorthics by his interest in biomechanics. The human body is a fascinating machine. With nearly 20 years of experience as a C.Ped (C) Steve has helped thousands of people get back to doing the activities they enjoy. He has a deep knowledge of the foot/lower leg, along with options to get them moving properly. Steve is eager to share his knowledge with patients, so do not hesitate to ask him questions.
Meet Our Osteopath
Gurdev is a dedicated Manual Osteopathic Practitioner and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and Oxford College. She brings several years of experience, where she developed strong skills in treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Gurdev focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction, using osteopathic assessment and hands-on techniques to restore proper structure and function in the body. She works with patients experiencing both acute and chronic conditions, including pain, headaches, digestive concerns, and inflammatory conditions.
She is committed to providing patient-centred care and enjoys collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support her patients’ recovery and overall well-being.
Meet Our Chiropractor
Dr. Lubna Alrayabi earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Palmer College and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. She treats a variety of conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint pain. She is trained in diversified technique, flexion distraction, and activator. Her approach to care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and exercise recommendations to support recovery and long-term health. Dr. Alrayabi’s goal is not only to help patients get out of pain, but also to help them move better, stay active, and maintain their health over time.

Jowena is a registered physiotherapist licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, holding a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Neurology, 2020, India). She brings diverse clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings, delivering individualized, evidence-informed rehabilitation tailored to each patient’s functional goals and recovery needs.
Her clinical expertise spans orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological conditions including stroke and Parkinson’s disease, post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and TMJ dysfunction. She has also completed advanced training in TMDs, with a focus on the assessment and management of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and headache-related disorders.
Jowena integrates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education within a patient-centered, goal-oriented approach. She has also contributed to the field through the publication of several research papers. Known for her calm, empathetic, and collaborative style, she is committed to optimizing function, restoring confidence, and supporting meaningful long-term recovery outcomes.

Alifya is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree.
With progressive clinical experience across musculoskeletal, neurological, and geriatric settings, she specializes in developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle. Her clinical skills include joint mobilization, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and electrotherapy modalities.
She is known for her compassionate, soft-spoken approach, helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. She strongly believes in patient education and empowering individuals to take an active role in their recovery. Her strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative mindset allow her to work effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients.

Lu, with a background in medical office administration, is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door.
She takes pride in keeping the clinic organized and running smoothly, ensuring that both patients and practitioners feel supported throughout their visit. Her goal is to help create a seamless, stress-free experience so the clinical team can focus on delivering the highest quality care.
